This research project aims to investigate the role of diversity and inclusion in educational policymaking in the CAMCA region. The study seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the extent to which diversity and inclusion are considered in the design, implementation, and evaluation of education policies in CAMCA countries.


Diversity and inclusion are crucial elements of equitable and high-quality education systems, as they ensure that all students, regardless of their backgrounds, have access to educational opportunities and can achieve their full potential. However, there is limited research on the extent to which diversity and inclusion are considered in educational policymaking in CAMCA countries, which face diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic contexts.


The project will investigate various aspects of educational policymaking, including policy design, implementation, and evaluation, to identify the extent to which diversity and inclusion are considered in the policymaking process. The study will also explore the factors that influence the incorporation of diversity and inclusion in education policies and the challenges that policymakers face in promoting diversity and inclusion.


The findings of this study will contribute to the existing knowledge on diversity and inclusion in educational policymaking in CAMCA countries and provide insights into the challenges and opportunities for promoting equitable and inclusive education policies in the region. The project will also develop a set of recommendations for policymakers and stakeholders interested in promoting diversity and inclusion in educational policymaking.


The research will be of interest to policymakers, educators, researchers, and other stakeholders interested in diversity and inclusion in education and development in the CAMCA region. The project will also provide a platform for regional collaboration and knowledge-sharing in educational policymaking. By promoting diversity and inclusion in educational policymaking, the project aims to contribute to building more equitable and inclusive education systems in CAMCA countries.
