Laura Demessinova

Laura Demessinova is the Head of the Investor Relations Division at Kazakhstan's National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" and a member of the supervisory boards of two subsidiary companies, "Samruk-Kazyna Contract" and "Samruk-Kazyna Trust."

 

Prior to this, she served as the Executive Director of the NGO Bolashak Association from 2018 to 2021, and as a Senior Manager at Samruk-Energy JSC, a national utility company, from 2014 to 2018. Ms. Demessinova has practical experience in the public, corporate, and non-governmental sectors and is actively involved in various social activities, including charity, volunteering, education, youth policy, women's empowerment, and alumni organizations.

 

She holds an MA in International Business in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Cesar Ritz Colleges in Switzerland (2012) and a BS in Finance and Marketing from KIMEP University in Kazakhstan (2010). Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in Political Science at Eurasian National University in Kazakhstan.
